Security at Jobsees
Understand how account access and sharing work on Jobsees, learn how to protect your account, and find out where to report a concern.
Protecting your account
Jobsees accounts use email and password sign-in or Google sign-in. New accounts confirm their email address before full access, and you can reset a forgotten password through the password recovery page. Signed-in members manage their account from Account Settings, and can set up two-step verification and sign out other devices from Security & Privacy.
To keep your account safe:
- Use a unique password when password-based sign-in is used.
- Do not share passwords or login codes.
- Use your own account rather than a shared login.
- Keep your account email current.
- Sign out on shared devices.
- Contact Jobsees if you suspect unauthorized access.
Understanding access and sharing
Different kinds of information on Jobsees have different audiences:
- Professional profiles. Member profiles are private to the signed-in member. The separate founder page is intentionally public.
- Connections and introductions. Your connections, Inner Circle invitations, and company introductions are visible only to the people involved.
- Applications and employer access. Only individually authorized representatives of a reviewed company can see the candidate activity connected to that company’s positions.
- Direct messages. Messages are visible only to the participants in the conversation.
- Playback Summary recordings and transcripts. Audio and transcripts are shared only with recipients you explicitly authorize, and you can withdraw that sharing.
- Communication preferences. Your preferences are private to you; sharing them with a specific recipient requires your explicit consent.
Some content is intentionally public, such as approved public company information and the founder page. Everything else follows the access rules above and the Privacy Policy.
Sharing information with an authorized recipient cannot prevent that person from copying or misusing it. Share thoughtfully and report suspected misuse.
Accountable company access
Employer tools are intended for individually authorized company representatives. Shared recruiter logins are not permitted. Each representative signs in through their own authenticated account, and companies complete a review of their legal name, website, logo, and authorized contact before positions are published.
Verifying an email address confirms control of that address; it does not independently prove identity or company authority. Company review adds accountability, but it cannot guarantee that every organization, posting, or statement is legitimate — use the reporting tools if something seems wrong.
Audio and uploaded files
Playback Summary recordings and company logos are stored in private storage rather than a public folder. Playback links are short-lived and issued only after the service confirms the listener is an authorized recipient, and uploads are checked for type and size before they are accepted.
No online playback method can prevent a listener from recording audio or their screen, and a link that was already opened cannot be unopened. Withdraw sharing whenever you no longer want a recipient to have access.
Security has limits
No online service can guarantee complete security. Account safeguards and access controls reduce risk, but they cannot prevent every unauthorized action or misuse.
Review sharing choices before sending personal information. Do not send passwords, login codes, bank credentials, or unnecessary identity documents through ordinary messages.
Report a security concern
If you suspect unauthorized account access or discover a possible security issue, contact hello@jobsees.com with the subject ‘Security Concern.’
Describe the affected page and what happened. Do not send passwords, login codes, or another member’s private information.
Responsible reporting
If you encounter another person’s information unexpectedly, stop accessing it and report the issue. Do not download, alter, share, or continue exploring private records.
This reporting channel does not authorize security testing, disruption, social engineering, or access to accounts or systems without permission.
Security concerns vs. content reports
For suspected scams, misleading positions, harassment, or inappropriate content, use the available reporting tools or contact Help & Support. Security concerns about account access or possible vulnerabilities should go to the security contact above so they can be handled separately from ordinary posting disputes.
