“Technology should support the relationship—not replace it.”
Jobsees started with my own experience of being unemployed and searching for my next opportunity.
Like millions of job seekers, I turned to the large technology platforms that have come to dominate online hiring. I spent countless hours searching through listings, tailoring résumés, submitting applications, and trying to figure out which opportunities were actually real, current, and still available.
The longer I searched, the more disconnected the process began to feel.
I encountered duplicate listings, reposted positions, expired opportunities, unclear compensation, and applications that seemed to disappear into automated systems. I could apply for a position and never know whether my résumé reached a recruiter, was filtered by software, or was ever reviewed by a person.
“Technology should support the relationship—not replace it.”
That led me to a simple question:
“What if finding work started with people instead of algorithms?”
That question became Jobsees.
